| 摘要： | Tarmac has taken over the top spot in the annual contractors' league after a bumper start to the year with places won on several major framework agreements. The group was recruited, along with Costain, FM Conway, Kier, Ringway and VolkerWessels, for Transport for London's surface transport infrastructure construction framework, which is expected to produce spending of up to £800m on enhancements and renewals projects over the next six years. Tarmac was also one of 21 contractors selected for a framework set up by an alliance between Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council and Bury Council, which should produce £300m of spending over the next three years. However, it was Skanska that won the most work in the three months to March 2021. The UK arm of the Swedish giant bagged the biggest contract of the quarter - and the largest value single roads project let for some time - with a £507m deal to dual a section of the A428 in Cambridgeshire between Caxton Gibbet and the Black Cat roundabout junction with the A1. The news comes as M Group Services completed the acquisition of Skanska UK's infrastructure services operation. |
