| 摘要： | This year's virtual Traffex/Parkex on 15-17 June could not come at a more important time. The infrastructure sector has been put at the forefront of central and local government's plans to regenerate the economy, and as one industry figure said to Highways: 'All eyes are on us.' Roads minister Baroness Vere will be speaking and senior figures from Highways England, including acting CEO Nick Harris, will spearhead the conversation at the conference, while professional bodies from across the sector will also be featured over the three days, discussing plans, priorities and actions.We have leading representatives from the Highways Sector Council, which has just agreed the first steps towards a sector deal with the Department for Transport (DfT) and Highways England. The people involved deserve massive credit for their hard work, though there is a long way to go and the Council is asking for the entire sector to get involved. |
