| 摘要： | Dominic: Tell us about Hardstaff Barriers and your work? Sarah: It's part of the Hill and Smith Group of companies. I have worked with Hardstaff for nearly three years and with the Hill and Smith Group for just under 13 years. Hill and Smith Ltd actually started in the 1800s, predominately in galvanised steel. The mindset of engineers and designers changed over the years, moving more towards concrete precast barriers. To keep with the times, our chief executive acquired Hardstaff Barriers in May 2016 when we were already a well-established precast barrier supplier. We already work very closely with all of our group companies to offer an end-to-end solution. Nigel: I joined Hill and Smith in 2019 and have been in the highways and road safety industry for over 30 years. My role at Hardstaff is in providing solutions for both temporary and permanent vehicle restraint systems (VRS), predominantly with the REBLOC precast concrete barrier. |
