| 摘要： | Congratulations on your 20th anniversary. What is the story behind the creation of Westcotec? Westcotec Ltd was founded in 2001, as the best things always are, in a pub. Founder Phil Hayton, clerk to the works at Norfolk County Council, and a behavioural psychologist friend of his, decided to carry out an experiment with a modified neon Budweiser sign and a car battery. They hid in a hedge, having fashioned the sign into a rudimentary red 30mph roundel. As cars approached the 30mph speed limit, they touched the wires onto the battery, the sign illuminated and the drivers braked. Behavioural change, Eureka! |
