| 摘要： | Telematics data can be used to produce fuel efficiency reports by monitoring drivers' habits, including idling, revving, speeding and comparing vehicles' and drivers' fuel consumption. This data also helps to identify areas of improvement. Second, this can reduce the requirement of vehicle maintenance and servicing - all contributing to lower costs and maximising profits. Third, the combination of telematics with mobile data communications and routing allows transport operators to use fewer vehicles to deliver goods in fewer miles.The Pets at Home fleet of 36 HGV and 20 vans support a network of over 450 stores throughout the UK. It has renewed its partnership with Microlise in a multi-year agreement that will see it continuing to utilise Microlise's Fleet Performance telematics as well as its health & safety module. |
