摘要：	How does professional registration rank alongside your other career achievements? It's a real sense of achievement, so it ranks equally with promotion. Both are a result of a lot of effort and constant work at a high level. Do you feel this is the reward for a career full of hard work and dedication? I feel it complements a full career and it's a fitting result for the effort put in over 30 years. It had to be done alongside the correct level of academic study which was also right and proper. There is no shortcut to CEng and that must continue to ensure its credibility. What does it mean to be awarded this accolade in the Armed Forces? It complements my experience and rank and has opened up opportunities where it sets me apart from my peers. What advice would you give to others interested in pursuing registration to the Engineering Council? It is an essential part of being a professional engineer and we should encourage those at all levels to register and pursue professional development to the highest level possible.
