| 摘要： | Why did you decide to apply to be a Chartered Engineer? Being a Chartered Engineer demonstrates the highest standard of competence and commitment. This is an important milestone in my career. It sets me apart as an engineer with high standards, who works in an ethical, sustainable and professional manner. It tests my competency level and professional development gained over many years against an independent assessment framework. Of course, being a Chartered Engineer is a demonstration that I have reached an internationally-recognised standard and it allows me to demonstrate commitment to this standard in the future; it also offers great flexibility. It focuses on the standard the individual has reached rather than the route they took. I knew that it would give me greater mobility - broader and faster progression - and that it will also improve my credibility. It will help me to broaden my horizons and build stronger foundations for me to build my career on, as well as help my approach to ethics, sustainability and professionalism. |
