| 摘要： | 2021 promises to be a year of green initiatives as we progress towards the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow in November. The Government has made clear its ambitions for a zero carbon transport system - they have even committed £10m to an electric vehicle trial to generate real world data - so we should be planning for that outcome today. Only if we proactively engage in the planning of the change we can hope to influence what the future might look like. Renault Trucks has shared its sustainability strategy with over 100 major fleet operators in the past year, and no-one disagrees that significant change is coming. The key question is not 'if, but rather how and when to make the change. Moving to electric needs to be carefully considered and managed and we should applaud operators such as Warburton's, leading the way by bringing their first zero carbon vehicles into service in London. |
