| 摘要： | More than two years after they were ordered (Buses, September 2018) California operator Foothill Transit has taken delivery of the first of two Alexander Dennis Enviro500EV battery electric tri-axle double-deckers. They were ordered after demonstration of a diesel Enviro500 in 2016. Unlike the two-axle Enviro400EV built for the UK in the joint venture with Chinese manufacturer BYD, these use electric technology supplied by United States battery bus builder Proterra, giving some commonality with the 33 Proterra single-deckers already in the fleet. BYD competes with Alexander Dennis and parent company NFI Group's New Flyer brand in North America. |
