摘要: | Drivers with Germany's largest public transit operator BVG in the capital Berlin are no longer accepting cash payments on board their vehicles. Passengers are now required to buy tickets using contactless bankcards or smartphone technology such as Apple or Google Pay. The operator has also boosted the number of vending machines offering prepaid tickets and a Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) spokeswoman said a prepaid card similar to London's Oyster card was in the pipeline. |
