| 摘要： | Stagecoach is Volvo's first customer for the short wheelbase version of its B8RLE single-decker. Its North Scotland fleet has ordered five of the 10.8m vehicles as part of an intake of 25 B8RLEs with Egyptian-built MCV EvoRa bodies for its network of routes in Orkney. They will have 41 seats, while the other 20 -built to 12.9m length - will seat 49. The order is one of a few revealed in the latest edition of British Bus Publishing's Stagecoach Bus Handbook (Reviews this month), which is produced in close cooperation with the group. Volvo is also supplying six Polish-built 7900E battery-electric single-deckers to the West Scotland fleet for a service in Kilmarnock that is part-funded by SP Energy Networks, part of Scottish Power. |
