摘要: Arriva's Green Line service from London to Luton Airport was significantly improved from the middle of May, now running every hour during the day. The new timetable also sees the reinstatement of overnight journeys, broadly hourly all-night northwards, and hourly southwards from 03:40. National Express's Al route restarted three weeks later, on a roughly two-hourly headway, and fewer overnight journeys. Flixbus stepped up the pressure on National Express and Megabus in mid-May, adding new destinations and intensifying some timetables. The London-Bristol service now operates at two-hourly intervals on three days a week, while the London-Cardiff/Swansea service is increased to run three to five times daily. This route has lost its non-stop status, and now serves Heathrow Airport and Newport en route, without any extra running time. Previously, only Megabus linked South Wales and Heathrow, though National Express resumed on the same link at the end of May. Flixbus has added a Stoke stop to some Manchester journeys, in place of Birmingham, which is now also served by a new London-Liverpool route, either via Chester or Warrington. One journey on the Leeds service has been extended to and from York, and there are more journeys to the East Midlands. This includes a new Nottingham-London route, with some journeys also serving Northampton.
