摘要: The red West Midlands Bus livery is set to disappear from six routes in the Black Country when Rotala-owned Diamond Bus withdraws from its partnership arrangement with National Express. Diamond says it will again operate four of the routes separately from August 29. "We'll be returning to our distinctive Diamond blue livery buses and providing our best rate fares available on the Diamond network. Passengers will still be able to enjoy the same enhanced on-board Diamond services such as next-stop screens and passenger Wi-Fi, all at our great value prices," it says. It is withdrawing completely from service 32 (Walsall-Lower Farm) and from the Tipton-Dudley section of route 42 (West Bromwich-Dudley), as well as a section of service 43A (West Bromwich-Bilston). New timetables include a 5min frequency on route 31 between Walsall and Bloxwich and every 10min (15min on Sundays) between Bloxwich and Mossley. Diamond will operate every lOmin on service 42/43 (West Bromwich-Great Bridge) with the 43 continuing up to every 20min to Bilston. It will provide a 15min service on the 40 (West Bromwich-Wednesbury). The two operators will no longer accept or sell each other's tickets from August 29, but Transport for West Midlands' nBus, Swift and Swift Go multi-operator tickets remain valid.
