| 摘要： | North West Vehicle Restoration Trust members had the opportunity to see work on progress on former Widnes Corporation 42 (TTE 282D), an East Lanes-bodied Leyland Titan PD2/40 new in 1966, at an exclusive event on June 6. The pandemic caused the trust to postpone its annual open day at Kirkby until September 12 when it expects to reveal some of its lates completed projects, but invited members to attend a scaled dowr day in controlled circumstances. The Titan was one of the last three double-deckers that Widne: bought new, and one of 16 simila vehicles delivered between 1959 and 1966. It is being restored to ⅱ original red and cream livery. |
