This is not all due to the Coronavirus pandemic but is part of a digital transformation that has been accelerated during 2020 and into 2021. It has been reported that over a third of car sales made in 'lockdown 3' were completed online. This was versus 17% in the first lockdown of March 2020, demonstrating that customers have become accustomed to making many of their transactions remotely. |
