At a time when stock shortages mean that profits on every car and van sold have potentially taken on a renewed importance, new research we've just completed at iVendi highlights a missed revenue opportunity that could produce instant results.Our analysis shows that, in the 12 month period ending in June, only 21.9% of dealers included aftersales products within propositions they sent to potential used vehicle buyers using our Digital Deal product. However, over the same period, 32.3% of those consumers opted to buy at least one product where they were included.This seems, to us, like an easy win. Integrating products such as warranties, GAP insurance, paint protection, tyre insurance and MOT insurance within all of the digital propositions that a dealer issues can be done easily and effectively using our technology, helping to increase unit profits. |
