BOMAG is expanding its light equipment range with the addition of two new walk-behind rollers, the BW 65 and BW 65 D.These models feature an electric starter as standard, as well as close drum spacing that is said to make them particularly light and manoeuvrable in use. All operating points are easily within the user's reach. The rollers are available with power from petrol engines that meet Stage Ⅴ/CARB Phase 3 emissions requirements or diesel models that meet the Stage Ⅴ regulations. The units have a switchable vibration system that can be adapted to suit different various surfaces, base layers and thin asphalt layers. The system has two amplitudes and is said to deliver high compaction performance across a range of duties. As the units have minimal lateral overhang, the firm says that an operator can compact quickly and precisely up to the edge of the mat and close to a kerb. |
