Numerous roads, bridges, pedestrian facilities and traffic light systems were damaged during the ferocious Hurricane Maria that struck the island in 2017. But the Puerto Rico Highways and Transportation Authority (PRHTA, ACT in Spanish) has insufficient funds to pay for the necessary repair and maintenance work. |
