| 摘要： | 1. A new 80'×28'×9' towboat, Natchez, was recently delivered by Missouri Valley Steel Inc., Leavenworth, Kan., to the Missouri Pacific Railroad for service to Natchez, Miss. The vessel will be used to operate a Natchez and Southern Railway Co. railroad car ferry. Main engines are twin Caterpillar D-397 roots-blown diesels which drive GE generators rated at 300 kW at 450 volts. The power is transmitted to GE traction motors located in the turrets in after sections of the hull. |
