| 摘要： | We often need to step back from everyday activities and think about where we are and where we are going. We should not allow ourselves to become so enamoured with the leaf on any one tree that we loose sight of where the forest is going. So it is with shipbuilding. We need on occasion to study where we are, what the industry sees for problem areas, and how our own operation fits into the community spectrum. This Task reports on the present situation in shipyards as regards procedures for estimating and controlling manpower, the largest and most expensive resource in this industry. Results are grouped by shipyard size, to help in relating conditions to your own case. Included also is a section that presents the feelings of shipyard managers on several topics of importance. / NOTE:Final rept. Aug 1986-Jul 1987. |
