| 摘要： | It is a generally accepted fact that between twelve and seventeen percent of all new commercial ship construction dollars are spent in initial ship painting. This means that the marine industry is probably spending upwards of five times more on painting than it should. This expenditure represents tens of millions of dollars being needlessly wasted. One of the causes for this needless expenditure of dollars is the lack of communication between the various facets of the marine industry - that is the owner, builder, and supplier. This study is an attempt to rectify this wasteful situation. / NOTE:Research rept. |
