| 摘要： | This report presents the results of a Phase I Marine Archeological Remote Sensing Survey of the Grand Isle Re-evaluation Study, and the dredging of Bayou Rigaud and marsh creation areas in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. conducted this investigation on behalf of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District (USACE-NOD) on September 19-22 and November 7-8, 2002, and May 12-17, 2003. The study was undertaken to assist the USACE-NOD in satisfying its responsibilities under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended. All aspects of the investigations were completed in accordance with the Scope-of- Work, and the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Archeology and Historic Preservation (Federal Register 44, 1983). / NOTE:Final rept. 19-22 Sep, 7-8 Nov 2002, 12-17 May 2003. |
