| 摘要： | The purpose of this paper is to give a brief description of those portions of the Clean Air Act of 1990 which will affect the shipbuilding industry. The paper will continue with a brief description of the involvement of the U.S. Navy in the process of modifying their activities to allow overall attainment of the goals of the Clean Air Act. This will be followed by commentary concerning working with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to formulate a Control Technique Guideline (CTG) for the Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Industry for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) and PMK (Designator for 'Particulate Matter'). Finally, this report will cover those activities which members of the Shipbuilding Industry should pursue with the local/state regulators in order to utilize the CTG with the local/state regulators as a part of the State Implementation Plan (SIP) to achieve the goals of the Clean Air Act. |
