摘要：	This research will examine the feasibility of integrating disparate information when planning emergency operations as related to transportation for Arkansas and other states with large portions of rural areas. The expected output is a research report detailing what information is available, what information is missing, the specific formatting requirements for the data in order to integrate it into an emergency response logistics planning tool. A preliminary examination of the detailed requirements for the design of a decision support system based on GIS technology will be developed. The research can be used by emergency planners to better understand how to utilize advanced technology in the planning process.
