摘要: THE OBJECT OF THE RESEARCH IS TO DETERMINE GENERALLY VALID DATA ON THE ACCURACY OF INFORMATION PROVIDED BY INDIVIDUAL AND AGGREGATE MODELS AND ON THEIR COMPATIBILITY. THIS IS ESPECIALLY THE CASE WITH RESPECT TO THE ACCURACY IN DETERMINING BEHAVIOURAL PARAMETERS FROM ANALYSIS DATA. REGARDING THE USE OF MODELS IN TRAFFIC FORECASTING, THE GAIN IN ACCURACY WHEN AGGREGATE MODELS ARE USED IS TO BE SET AGAINST THE LOSS OF ACCURACY DUE TO FORECASTING UNCERTAINTIES IN THE INITIAL DATA ON THE POPULATION STRUCTURE, SO THAT THE TOTAL BENEFITS OF USING INDIVIDUAL MODELS IN PLANNING CAN BE EVALUATED.
