摘要: THE OBJECT IS TO DRAW UP DESIGN FORMULAE FOR CALCULATING CRACK WIDTHS IN PARTIALLY PRESTRESSED STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS AND TO FORMULATE A CHECK FOR RETAINING DEFINED CRACK WIDTHS. 5 PARTIALLY PRESTRESSED BEAMS (B TIMES D = 20 TIMES 50 CM) ARE BEING STUDIED. UNDER WORKING LOAD THE CRACKS ARE INJECTED WITH SYNTHETIC RESIN. THE BEAMS ARE CUT UP AFTER THE RESIN HAS HARDENED AND THE CRACK WIDTH MEASURED INSIDE THE WHOLE BENDING TENSILE AREA. THE CONCRETE COVER AND THE POSITION OF THE SLACK REINFORCEMENT ARE BEING VARIED.
