THE WORK IS THE CONTINUATION OF A PREVIOUS PROJECT WHICH DEALT WITH CONCRETE SURFACES FOR ROADS AND NON-TRAFFICKED STRUCTURAL PARTS. IT IS ACCEPTED THAT STUDIES HAVE TO BE UNDERTAKEN DIRECTLY ON THE STRUCTURES IN QUESTION OR ON SAMPLES TAKEN FROM THESE STRUCTURES, AS SAMPLES PRODUCED UNDER LABORATORY CONDITIONS DO NOT REPRODUCE ACTUAL CONDITIONS. THE VARIOUS METHODS OF PREPARING THE CONCRETE SURFACE HAVE A DIFFERENT EFFECT ON THE SURFACE DEPENDING ON CONCRETE COMPOSITION AND CONDITION. THE AGGREGATE HAS TO BE VARIED IN THE STUDIES. CONCRETES CONTAINING THE MAIN AGGREGATES USED IN ROAD BUILDING ARE TO BE SUBJECTED TO DIFFERENT SURFACE TREATMENTS AND TESTED AND EVALUATED. |
