| 摘要： | Wepfer Marine has announced that it will christen the mv. Peanut Hollinger June 23 at the Paducah, Ky., riverfront. The new name will honor W.A. "Peanut" Hollinger, a storied riverman and entrepreneur who worked to develop a river terminal at Cal-vert City, Ky. Hollinger died April 15. The vessel to be christened is the former mv. Chesley E, which Wepfer pur- chased from Kirby April 7. The christening ceremony will follow a memorial service at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Paducah; visitation is from 1-2 p.m., followed by the service from 2-3 p.m. Following the christening, a celebration of Hollinger's life will be held at Doe's Eat Place from 4-6 p.m. |
