Alternative Recertification Pathways for Pilots with Mental Health Conditions
项目名称: Alternative Recertification Pathways for Pilots with Mental Health Conditions
摘要: The purpose of this project is to drive collaborative innovation to produce new and potentially powerful opportunities to move the Office of Aerospace Medicine and the pilots it medically certifies from the status quo to breakthroughs in processes for managing pilot mental health-related risk. This project will facilitate an open innovation challenge to explore opportunities to decrease the time to medical recertification in pilots with mental health conditions while maintaining the currently level of safety. The open innovation challenge will explore the feasibility of integrating approaches used in other risk management industries as well as the potential role of biomedical monitoring devices as a risk mitigation approach for use in medical recertification.
