TWENTY YEARS AGO, damage to a gate at Mel Price Locks caused a diversion of repair funds from Locks and Dam 27; John Hartford and his band performed on the Belle of Cincinnati for Industry Day; and Blount/Barker Shipbuilding signed a contract with Buchanan Marine to build a 2,400 hp., 85-foot, twin-screw tug. |
