| 摘要： | Kentucky has allocated $500,000 toward its public riverports as part of this year's Kentucky Riverport Improvement grant program and issued a call for applicants.Public riverports located in Ken-tucky that are interested in applying for the grant must email their applica-tion in .pdf form by 4 p.m. Eastern time May 14. Mailed paper copies are not being accepted this year due to COV-ID-19 restrictions.Funding for the program was allocat-ed by the Kentucky General Assembly for Fiscal Year 2022. Grant awards are lim-ited to a maximum of 50 percent of the actual project cost with the applicant pro-viding the other 50 percent or more of the project cost.The Kentucky Riverport Improve-ment program was established in fiscal year 2013. It provides grants for pub-lic riverport authorities to fund dredg-ing or maintenance of access. Eligible projects may include dredging, im-provement of riverport facilities, infra-structure or critical material-handling equipment within the boundaries of the riverport. Plans and studies are not eli-gible to be funded. |
