| 摘要： | The Waterways Journal announces that Michael (Mike) Marko, president and owner of Mike's Inc., a shipyard headquartered in South Roxana, Ill., has been selected to be our 2021 IMX Achievement Award winner. Marko will be honored at a special ceremony during the Inland Marine Expo, May 24-26 in St. Louis, Mo. More details to follow. The IMX Achievement Award exists to recognize individuals who have spent their career making significant contributions to the maritime industry by helping it to be the most cost-efficient, safe and environmentally friendly mode of transportation for many cargoes. There were several qualified nominations for 2020 and 2021 (there was no award presented in 2020 due to COVID-19), and all deserve recognition. |
