摘要: The temperature performance of a radial tire was correlated with a bias ply tire of identical size under controlled laboratory dynamometer conditions. The general effects of increases in load and ground speed on the temperature profiles of each tire were compared. The results indicated that the bias ply tire used during the tests was more adversely affected by increases in load and speed than the radial tire. However, to further quantify the temperature profile distinction between the radial and bias ply tires, additional data and effort would be required.
