摘要: | Advantages and disadvantages of various technologies applicable to design of aircraft ground support equipment are described. The target system is a multifunction power cart of modular design able to support a variety of military aircraft with electrical, cooling air, pressured air, and hydraulic power to support servicing and maintenance. Existing technologies for each design option are compared with each other and against the requirement to provide affordable solutions for new design approaches for ground support equipment. The report identifies a set of technologies expected to be best suited to these purposes over the next four years. |
