| 摘要： | This report develops a methodology for researching and designing heliport lighting systems with particular emphasis on lighting system configurations. The report also catalogs lighting system components, subsystems, and systems identified to date. The main objective of this effort is to develop a basis from which to form a more efficient lighting system for instrument approaches to heliports using the Global Positioning System (GPS). With the development of instrument approach procedures to heliports, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating the lighting requirements necessary to support these procedures. This report describes the initial efforts of this research and development activity. |
