Interreg BSR Real Time Ferries
项目名称: Interreg BSR Real Time Ferries
摘要: This application addresses co-financing of the costs of project costs of RISE Victoria AB and the Swedish Maritime Administration in a forthcoming Interreg-project, Real Time Ferries (RTF). RTF aims to provide a generic way to connect ferries and hinterland transport in Baltic Sea Region (BSR) with Real Time Information to increase efficiency in the intermodal shift. The project builds on earlier projects such as Interface Plus, EU-Spirit and the development of Sea Traffic Management (STM). The project will use the results from the earlier projects such as generic infrastructure for reaching time-tables from all ferry-lines in the Baltic (EU-Spirit), to receive latest updated ETA for ferry-lines through Sea Traffic Management and its Maritime Service Infrastructure and connect this to real-time information from public transport, trucks and railway transportation to a common hub for ferry-related information in the BSR (Interface Plus). The contribution from this project will be to "connect the dots" from earlier projects into an "implemented infrastructure" in the BSR, from which involved actors can integrate in their operating systems and processes. Through the cooperation with the STM Validation Project, which is already running, RTF will get access to STM-enabled vessels which the project can use to demonstrate the results of a real-time synchronisation between traffic modes. The RTF project will also accelerate the adoption of STM-enabled navigations systems in the Baltic, which will be beneficiary to the further uptake of the STM concept by the industry. The project consortium is lead by the University of Rostock and includes several ferry operators, several cities and regions, land transport operators, terminals and ports. By having all actors in the transport chain engaged in the project, we ensure that the solution will be attractive to the industry.
