| 摘要： | Currently, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is unable to easily determine whether winter application of road deicers may lead to acute chloride exceedances in local streams of the Siskiyou Pass, or contamination of local groundwater sources. This proposed research aims to provide ODOT with both a deicer application management tool for predicting chloride exceedances in local stream water, as well as a pilot study to better understand and account for chloride fate in local groundwater systems from deicing applications. |
