| 摘要： | This research will focus on investigating Kansas work zones where vehicle speed is required to decrease prior to the work zone merge (or lane drop), and then proceed next to the work zone activity (as shown in KDOT TE744). Prior to the full lane drop and in the buffer space, vehicles may be presented with a hazard which could result in a crash if speed are not in compliance with the posted work zone speed limit.
