| 摘要： | Rural arterials passing through small towns and cities pose a major safety risk due to high speeds of through traffic in areas with local and vulnerable road users. The project will deliver: 1) The effective ways to manage vehicle speeds including road design, traffic management and control, and modern technology-based solutions. 2) Guidelines on conditions that justify use of the countermeasures including signage, markings, and speed display, limited changes in the cross-section, gateways, changes in horizontal alignment, and combinations of these countermeasures. |
