| 摘要： | This research project will do the following: (1) Utilize three technical approaches to deploy Pedestrian in Crosswalk: (a) Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) Phone (vehicle to pedestrian (V2P)): Expand current tailored project with Honda, Qualcomm, and UMTRI; (b) Wi-Fi to roadside unit (RSU) phone app (V2I); and (c) Camera-based pedestrian detection to RSU (vehicle to infrastructure (V2I)); (2) 4 mid-block crosswalks along Plymouth Road; and (3) Compare and contrast the effectiveness of each system. |
