| 摘要： | Adjacent prestressed box beam bridges account for a large portion of Indiana�s bridge population. The objective of this research is to develop recommendations for inspection, load-rating, and design of adjacent box beam bridges. This research program will propose revisions to Indiana Department of Transportation's (INDOT�s) Bridge Inspection Manual for assessing the condition ratings for adjacent box beam bridges and determining their load capacity. In addition, a �best-practices� document will be developed for use by engineers for the design and construction of the next generation of box beam bridges. |
