摘要：	Given the rapid developments within the automation of vehicles underway, it is important to clarify the role infrastructure plays for automated driving, and how the interaction between infrastructure, driver and vehicle should look like. In this pre-study the aim is to gather an overview of state-of -the -art internationally concerning the interplay between infrastructure and automated vehicles, how other countries are dealing with this challenge, major ongoing projects in the area, the need for knowledge building and the identification of the specific challenges in terms of technology and regulations that must be addressed going forward.
