| 摘要： | The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is conducting this study to examine the prevalence of legal and illegal drugs in the systems of seriously- or fatally-injured drivers and other crash-involved road users (e.g., pedestrians, bicyclists, scooter riders) presenting directly to selected trauma centers or morgues. Little is currently known about the prevalence of drugs other than alcohol in drivers and other road users who are seriously- or fatally-injured in a motor vehicle crash (MVC). The proposed study approach will allow for an in-depth and accurate portrayal of drug prevalence among the populations of interest at the studied sites. |
