| 摘要： | The purpose of the project is to improve the knowledge base of road dust formation and emission in Nordic conditions in order to better determine the most effective and efficient road dust mitigation strategies. This will enable the road authorities to make better informed decisions concerning road dust abatement and the consequences for health and legislation. Moreover the project results will help to better understand the processes around sanding/salting and removal from the road surface. This will help to better plan and manage winter road maintenance and save resources. The project will carry out a range of predetermined laboratory and field experiments and use these to improve the modelling tools necessary for predicting the outcomes of varying mitigation strategies. |
