| 摘要： | A summary of an analysis of a wind shear model is presented in the form of vugraphs. Information is given on the Terminal Area Simulation System, two dimensional axisymmetric simulations, precipitation, ambient temperature and humidity profiles over Denver, and the structure of microbursts. It was concluded that the intensity of microbursts depends upon the environment temperature and humidity profile, the diameter of the microburst downdraft, the type of precipitation and the precipitation rate. The depth of the outflow layer depends primarily upon the diameter of the downdraft. Dry microbursts are more likely to be produced by precipitation initially falling as snow. |
