| 摘要： | The objective of this Cooperative Agreement is to support the continued efforts of Automation Alley and its partner Altair Engineering to develop "BUSolutions" - an easily maintainable, next-generation bus, designed using state of the art engineering methods to achieve a significantly lower cost of ownership. BUSolutions combines state of the art design with conventional components, materials, and construction methods to enable it to operate in existing transit authorities with no changes to infrastructure or personnel skill set requirements. The FY2008 funding will allow the engineering phase of BUSolutions to progress towards completion. As a general measure, this funding cycle should take the bus design to completion state of over 75% and allow the build to begin in the following funding cycle. |
