| 摘要： | This code book documents data sets describing a sample of motor vehicle accidents that occurred in the USA during calendar year 2007. These sets represent the NASS Crashworthiness Data System distribution file dated August 20, 2008. The data sets were generated by the Transportation Data Center at the University of Michigan's Transportation Research Institute from data collected by the National Center for Statistics and Analysis (NCSA) of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The cooperation of NHTSA is gratefully acknowledged. The 1988-2007 CDS data represents a statistical sample of motor-vehicle accidents whose collection methodology was designed to assist in studies directed toward a determination of vehicle crashworthiness. / Supplementary Notes: See also PB2010-107683 (2008).
