| 摘要： | The United States Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) conducted a day-long workshop on June 4, 2009 in National Harbor, Maryland to solicit stakeholder input on the strategic direction of the Federal Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) program. As work is concluding on a number of the major initiatives that defined the program over the last several years, U.S. DOT is now developing a plan for the next generation of ITS research, taking into consideration major opportunities in technology, the next leap forward, updated definitions of the Federal role, the best uses of resources, and strategies for moving forward while building on todays systems. / Supplementary Notes: Sponsored by Department of Transportation, Washington, DC.
