摘要: Compact and efficient power converters are being developed to support the needs of future ground vehicle systems. This progress is being driven by component advancements, combined with improvements in component thermal management achieved through various liquid cooling implementations. Regardless of the configuration of the thermal management system, the properties of the liquid coolant used are vital to its performance. This work compares the use of turbine oil and an aqueous glycol solution as coolants in an automotive based power converter application.
