| 摘要： | The Municipality of Tweed is located approximately 220 kilometers (136.7 miles) northeast of Toronto. The municipality has a population of approximately 6,057 and 2,512 homes. In 2019, they found that the existing wastewater treatment system was nearing its rated capacity. To meet the future demands of a growing community, the municipality needed to expand the wastewater system, which included construction of a third lagoon cell. The project received both federal and provincial funding, including an investment through the Green Infrastructure Stream of the Investing in Canada plan. |
